Terms and Conditions

ARTDesign registers domains on the Internet through the relevant governing bodies and Host and design web sites
and related material on www server(s) on behalf of Applicants (hereafter referred to as the Client). These Terms
and Conditions apply to the use and registration of Domain names and the web hosting services offered by
ARTDesign.

1. Client is above the age of 18 years, has full contractual capacity and is duly authorised by the Client to contract on the Client's behalf.

2. Client is fully aware of the copyright laws and knows that the name they choose for their domain is not an infringement of this law.

3. Initial set-up and once-off fees are payable upfront and non refundable.

4. ARTDesign reserves the right to choose not to place explicit material on a web site. ARTDesign will not upload explicit content onto the Internet.

5. ARTDesign reserves the right to display the fact that development of the site has been done by ARTDesign/ M Diedericks.

6. Only fully paid domain names will be used, under no circumstances is ARTDesign responsible for the annual payment of domains. The client will be notified via e-mail or post that the domain needs to be paid. The handling of these fees will be charged to the clients' account.

7. Hosting involves a basic fee of R150* monthly. This is payable before the 1st of each month. If not paid, ARTDesign reserves the right to terminate the hosting within 24 hours. A reset fee of R350 will be payable on reconnection of the web site (the same goes for all the monthly services performed by ARTDesign - email, database hosting).

8. Only a written cancellation of service will be accepted. A one-month notice is required as the service takes place before payment. Any refusal to pay the owed amounts could lead to prosecution and black listings.

Maintenance of web sites is charged at R375 per hour. If you require regular minor* updates to your site, you can also take a fixed monthly maintenance contract.

*Minor updates include text additions or removal and image updates.

Notes: Please notify us immediately if you have done an Internet transfer, the domain name will be registered/transferred after payment is confirmed.

No registrations will be done without payment received in advance.
